When the Adaptil collar is in snug contact with the dog’s skin, the dog’s body temperature warms the collar and encourages the diffusion of pheromones into the local environment. As a result, it is vital the Adaptil collar is in close contact with the dog’s skin at all times. Two sizes of collar are available for puppy/small dogs (fits neck up to 37.5cm) and medium/large dogs (fits neck up to 70cm). Each collar lasts 4 weeks and can be replaced as required. (State Sales & Operations Manager)
Sam joined Dogtainers shortly after relocating to Australia from the UK in February 2012. Initially, Sam worked as a Domestic Travel Consultant and then very quickly moved into her role as Sales & Operations Manager. Sam oversees and manages our Domestic, International and Operations teams. Sam loves all animals and has a two year old Labrador called Tex who comes to work with her every day and is a long term resident at our Kennels here in Brisbane; she also has a cat called Fudge who sometimes visits the office. Sam is an experienced Dog Trainer and Behaviourist Advisor and gained her NOCN Accredited Qualified Dog Behaviour qualification in the UK. Other courses that Sam has completed include the Canine Behaviour OCN Level 2, Dog Handling Skills OCN Level 2, Certificate of Dog Instruction OCN Level 3 and Canine First Aid. Sam loves her job with Dogtainers and checks that all of our Dogtainers pets are in great condition before and after travel. In addition to her dog training skills, Sam has many years of experience in various fields such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Aviation Passenger Handling. Her skills and prior experience have enabled her to become a valued member and successful manager of the Dogtainers team.
Angela De Chellis
(Sales and Operations Manager)
Angie Joined the team back in 2014 and has come from Guide Dogs Australia. Angie has a Bachelor of Animal Science degree and a Certificate in Companion Animal Behaviour. 6.5 years experience working with Guide Dogs Australia looking after dogs in training, Angie was also the Therapy Dog Trainer in charge of training dogs for therapeutic purposes, and finally she was a Puppy Raising officer overseeing families caring for puppies not yet old enough to begin formal training.
Angie is also hands on with experience working with wildlife both in Australia and abroad in Africa. Mainly monitoring, treating and tracking endangered species and vital African wildlife populations. Previously worked in a boarding facility where she experienced a wider variety of dog behaviours and breeds. Angie has two rescue kitties Jaxx & Kindi.

Laura specialises in Domestic pet transport at Dogtainers. Laura is another multi-skilled staff member, who works in consulting as well as operations. Laura was employed with Emirates as a check-in and customer service agent prior to working at Dogtainers, and has a Certificate III in Business. Due to Laura’s previous experience within the airline industry, she is very familiar with airport logistics and protocol.
Biljana Popandonova – Bibi
(Domestic & International Consultant)
Bibi joined us in December 2013 and is the latest addition to the Dogtainers Brisbane Team. She has 6 years’ experience in International Pet Transport in Europe, the Balkans, Central Asia and the Middle East. Bibi is well versed in Australian Export and Import Requirements, as well as the worldwide countries regulations. Over her years of experience Bibi has built a strong network of Industry acquaintances, which have become her personal friends and act as her extended hand in the day to day work. Bibi was a first time attendee at the IPATA Conference in Montreal, 2010, and has since attended all following IPATA Conferences. Bibi now serves on IPATA’s Membership Development Committee. In 2013, she attended the EU Members Regional meeting in 2013 and also became ‘Fraport’ LAR Certified. Bibi is a big animal lover and owns a Beagle x Balkan Hunting Dog, ‘Snoopy,’ who is being prepared to join her in Australia as soon as he meets the Australian Import Protocol.
Our Operations Team:-
Josh has had years of Operations experience with Dogtainers, and is our full-time Operations Manager. Josh supervises a large team of drivers and animals handlers and oversees the daily logistical operations of the business by scheduling all collections, deliveries, comfort stops and lodgment assistance. Josh manages the transport of empty crates, to ensure that the correct crate is waiting for each pet at lodgment. Josh has a large amount of hands on experience with reptiles and birds and is our specialist carer for the more unusual species that we transport. Josh has a passion for all animals whether it has feathers, scales or fur.
Kate is our leading full time driver and animal handler here in Brisbane. She has a large amount of experience with a wide range of animals but her passion lies with our feathered friends. Kate has been working in the pet care industry for almost 10 years and continues her career at Dogtainers pet transport.
