Brachycephalic Breeds (Snub Nosed) – Approved Qantas Shipper and IPATA Member

The transport of our smaller companions has become a highlight of air travel lately and airlines have taken very important steps on the road to ensuring that we make every journey as safe as possible for them.

One of these changes is the move by Qantas to impose restrictions on people exporting these types of pets. Qantas are now insisting upon shippers being IPATA approved and therefore Qantas approved shippers of these types of animals.

This means shippers have to adhere to a strict set of rules to ensure the safety of our fluffy friends.

Dogtainers has been a long standing member of IPATA and upholds the highest standards for the pet travel industry. With us you can be sure that your flat faced friend will have the best possible journey, domestically or internationally.

You can find Qantas specific information on the subject here.

This includes a list of breeds that are considered Brachycephalic.

If you have any more questions regarding Brachycephalic breeds and their transportation please contact us, we are the experts after-all. Book online or call 1300 13 52 52 to speak to a Dogtainers Pet Transport consultant now.
